AG News Launches Season 2 Podcast

Learn about one man's unique ministry to everyday people who arrive first at the scene of emergency situations, marvel at how God has transformed lost lives into ones filled with purpose and meaning, and be prepared to laugh and maybe even cry as you hear how God used a children’s hospital visit to turn one young man’s lead-pastor aspirations into a 40-year-long clown ministry.

These stories and more are found in the second season of the AG News podcast series that debuted on Jan. 28. Filled with captivating stories of God working in and through the Assemblies of God to further His kingdom, the Season 2 podcast is designed to inspire and encourage people in their spiritual journeys as well as be a source of hope and light to those who may be struggling or searching.

Season 2 again features the interviewing talents of former television news anchors Ethan and Sarah Forhetz.

“Ethan and Sarah ask compelling questions that not only bring to light the personal story, but also move beyond to reveal the ‘God story’ in each episode” says Keith Surface, AG News Director.

Surface notes that the Season 2 podcast has a cross-generational appeal from the perspective of the story being told as well as the spiritually significant undertones that become readily apparent such as faith, hearing God’s voice, living out your call, overcoming, and transformation.

“As I previewed the podcast episodes, I also began to see one reoccurring theme,” Surface says. “Many, if not all, of the people in Season 2 could easily say that there was a time in their lives that they never could have imagined God using them for His glory in this way.”

Watch for Season 2 to begin appearing weekly on the AG News website and within the weekly email editions of AG News over the next two months. Each episode will also be available on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple or wherever you choose to access your podcasts.
